What books do you need to read to become a vet?

I want to become a vet, but I want to study that stuff. Is there any books that would be at a local library? Like, what kind of the the animal books I can find, including dogs, cats, birds, etc? Also, how would you become the biggest dog lover ever?

you have to get a vet license through vet school
